I am originally from Chicago, IL and received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have over 10 years of experience in providing individual, family, and couples therapy for a wide range of individuals with diverse backgrounds. I have worked with many clients that seek guidance in treating a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma experiences and relationship issues.

My approach to therapy involves understanding my client’s needs through establishing a secure therapeutic relationship. I provide a safe space for my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are negatively impacting their ability to have a fulfilling and functional life. I utilize the theory and skills of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, including REBT, ACT and DBT to assist clients in developing skills to work through their difficulties. I also have specialized training in Trauma focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to work with individuals that have experienced severe forms of trauma, and the Gottman method for couple therapy. I believe that all clients are capable of improvement and have personal strengths that can be used to assist them in their efforts.

Understanding therapy is difficult to access, I offer some evening or weekend appointments.
Standard Rate: $150 per hour
Sliding Scale Fee Available
Out of Network - if we are not in your network we will provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement - contact your insurance company to see if you have out-of-network benefits and what the reimbursement is.
