My Approach
I believe that meaningful change happens within a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and genuine human connection. My goal is to create a safe, culturally attuned, trauma-informed, supportive space where you feel understood, respected, and empowered to work toward the life you want. I approach therapy with unconditional positive regard, offering empathy, compassion, and acceptance while also providing honest, thoughtful feedback to help you grow and move forward.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), life stressors, emotional dysregulation, depression, and suicidal thoughts. I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD and anxiety-related conditions, and incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop psychological flexibility, emotional resilience, and effective coping skills. I am also trained in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), an evidence-based approach designed to help individuals safely navigate suicidal thoughts and build a life worth living.
I view therapy as a partnership. Rather than positioning myself as the expert on your life, I work collaboratively with you to understand your experiences, identify your strengths, and develop strategies that align with your values and goals. Together, we will explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, while building practical skills and insights that support lasting change. Whether you are struggling with OCD, anxiety, depression, overwhelming emotions, or feeling uncertain about your next steps, I strive to meet you where you are—with warmth, curiosity, and respect, and help you get to where you want to be. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can feel both challenged and supported as you work toward greater confidence, resilience, and fulfillment.
I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life's challenges and discover new possibilities for growth and healing.
